What Is UNIFOR?

UNIFOR is the technology and training unit operating under the Unidad de Nuevas Tecnologías (Unit of New Technologies), affiliated with the Instituto de Mayores y Servicios Sociales (IMSERSO) and the Spanish Ministry of Work and Social Affairs. Its mission is to promote accessibility, professional development, and social integration for people with disabilities through digital tools and e-learning.

Based in Salamanca, Spain, UNIFOR has historically served as a bridge between disability services, vocational training, and emerging technologies — supporting both professionals in the field and individuals seeking greater independence and labor-market participation.
